DOT Panel Changes – 49 CFR Part 40
ECSTASY MDMA
Adds testing for Ecstasy (MDMA). Screening cut-off for MDMA is set at 500 ng/mL, with confirmation for MDMA, MDA, and MDEA at 250 ng/mL.
MANDATORY TESTING FOR HEROINE
Adding 6-AM Heroin Metabolite to Opiate Screening
REDUCED CUTOFF AND SCREENING LEVELS
Cocaine
Current: 300 ng/mL screening - New: 150 ng/mL screening
Current: 150 ng/mL confirmation - New 100 ng/mL confirmation
Amphetamines
Current: 1000 ng/mL screening - New: 500 ng/mL screening
Current: 500 ng/mL confirmation - New: 250 ng/mL confirmation
