Federal Court Rules In Favor of Walmart in Medical Marijuana Case

A federal court ruled that Walmart could terminate employment of those who test positive for medical marijuana.  Recently Walmart exercised an option to fire an employee who injured himself on the job and was ordered for mandatory drug testing.  The employee, Joseph Casias, was terminated for testing positive for marijuana.  Casias's oncologist suggested that he use medical marijuana to ease the pain from his ongoing medical disease.
